BEAR CREEK OHV AREA CAMPING

The Bear Creek OHV area is a remote location and visitors should be equipped to be self-sufficient.  Our campground is managed in partnership with RSTBC.  Please visit www.sitesandtrailsbc.ca for more detailed rules and regulations. 

Camping at the Bear Creek OHV Area

The Bear Creek OHV Area is currently serviced by a total of 38 BC Rec campsites. All sites are "dry camping" with no water, sewer, or electric connections.  All camping is "pack in and pack out" Campers are solely responsible to remove all their garbage on departure.  

 

Camp sites are on a first come first serve basis with no reservations and a maximum stay of 14 days.  $18 daily camping fee payable by cash, debit or credit to our site hosts.  Text the Site Host at 250-863-4212 to check on availability.

Aspen Trail Head Campground

The Aspen campground has a total 29 developed and maintained campsites.  Our larger sites can accommodate motorhomes, trailers, or fifth wheels of any size.  All sites have been designed in mind to accommodate the motorcycle and atv communities.  Each sites has a picnic table and fire ring.  The campsite and staging area are serviced by a total of 6 pit toilets. 

Burke Trail Head Campground

The Burke Campground has 9 developed and maintained campsites.  All sites have picnic tables and fire rings. All sites are "dry camping" with no water, sewer, or electric connections, there are 2 pit toilets servicing the campground and staging area. 

Group Gatherings

Organized, responsible groups are encouraged to enjoy the beauty of the Bear Creek Recreation Site, however, any group larger than 15 people requires an authorization permit. Please contact Okanagan Trail Riders Association for more info.  Additional vehicles require a payment - 50% of the "Daily Camping Fee"

Bush parties, grad parties, and any other such gatherings are prohibited without a permit. If convicted,

violators may be subject to a $5,000 fine and/or imprisonment.

  

The discharge of firearms or any weapon and the falling trees is prohibited in developed recreation site facilities.
